About this font
A contemporary text serif with calligraphic roots: Lora's soft, brushed curves keep warmth on screen, read long without fatigue and still headline elegantly. Optical sizing and italics serve body engines, nine weights plus variable cover extended Latin and Cyrillic. Made for blogs, magazines, publishers - any digital reading that wants paper warmth. Its strength is a dual personality: body-grade serifs stay restrained for paragraph reading, while display-grade sizes release the calligraphic energy for headings; pair it with Source Han Serif or Zhuque Fangsong so the Latin and CJK serif moods match.
Where it works best
Long-form blogs, digital magazines and presses, papers, ebooks. Body 400 (serifs need +1-2px at low DPI), headlines 600-900; pairs well with Source Han Serif. For publishing and long-form: online magazines, digital editions from publishers, papers and blogs; body 400 at 18px+ lets the serif breathe, headings 700/900.
