About this font
A rounded sans built to feel friendly: every stroke terminal curves, giving a warm, low-stress mood - a natural fit for education, kids, lifestyle and FMCG posters, sidebars and callouts. Nine weights plus variable cover both body and display. OFL, on Google Fonts: a safe pick when you want warmth without going soft. Crucially, the rounding touches terminals only, so legibility at small sizes survives - body copy, buttons, forms and toasts are all its home turf. Paired with Resource Han Rounded for Chinese, it forms a complete rounded brand system.
Where it works best
Kids' education brands, health/lifestyle apps, rounded poster headlines. Body at 400/600, oversized display at 700-900 with light tracking; pairs with Chinese rounded faces. Chinese pairing: set Chinese in hei faces (Source Han Sans / MiSans) with Nunito for Latin for a rounded-but-not-soft feel; go 600 on buttons and small labels.

The dominant permissive licence for open fonts: free commercial use, modification, embedding and redistribution. Its core duties are that derivatives stay under OFL without the Reserved Font Name, the licence text travels with the files, and the fonts themselves are never sold standalone. Works typeset with them belong wholly to you.
SIL OFL 1.1: free for all commercial contexts, embeddable, modifiable and redistributable; no reserved-name reuse in derivatives, no standalone sales. Served via Google Fonts' official CDN.

Can Nunito be used as body text?
Yes. Its rounding does not hurt small-size legibility - body copy at 400/600 and 15-16px reads fine. For very long reading prefer a plainer grotesque for body and keep Nunito for emphasis and headings.
