About this font
OPPO released this custom brand typeface with ColorOS 6 in 2019, designed by Hanyi together with Pentagram, and declared it free for society-wide commercial use the same November. Version 4.0 (2024) fuses Text and Display optical sizes: an open, stable skeleton tuned for high-resolution screens with smaller ink traps, cleaner terminals and evened-out counters. Latin and numerals are its showpiece - a stately square frame with lively local variations, mechanical stroke ends balanced by humanist proportions. Five weights (Light to Heavy) plus a variable build cover Simplified Chinese, a separate Traditional cut, and eleven language groups, making it the most Latin-tempered of the Chinese phone-maker fonts.

Strong choices: tech-brand identity, launch decks, websites and app UI, bilingual copy where its Latin flair earns attention, and video titling. The 4.0 Display refinements reward large sizes, giving hero headlines more designed character than its system-font peers.
