About this font
Dancing Script is Argentine designer Pablo Impallari's take on the freehand sign-writing of 1940s-50s ballrooms: letters lean right, strokes rise and fall like a dance, and a/t/n stagger in playful heights while connections stay natural rather than gummy. Warmer than a prim italic serif, calmer than graffiti, it sets a festive, intimate, party-ready mood. Google Fonts hosts 400/500/700 cuts. OFL - the go-to for wedding invitations, holiday cards, birthday banners and bakery or dessert brands that need hand-written warmth in Latin.
Where it works best
Best for weddings, cards and invites, dessert and café signage, festive promos, kids' parties and social posts. Use at headline scale with generous letterspacing; keep body copy to short phrases.
