About this font
Dream Han Sans is Pal3love's huge rework of the Source Han Sans foundation that squeezes Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese kana and Korean Hangul into one family, covering over 60,000 characters including the full GB18030 set. It ships in both proportional and monospaced metrics to serve typography, tables and code, and spans a dozen weights from hairline to black. For brands, exports and automated layout that must run across China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea in one font, it is the most economical open choice. Licensed under SIL OFL 1.1 - free for commercial use, embedding and modification. Mind the file size: full coverage is heavy, so on the web take what you need; in print and desktop use, enjoy freely.
Where it works best
Ideal for multilingual brand systems, releases destined for HK/TW/JP/KR, editorial body and headings, and documentation projects that demand exhaustive glyph coverage. Take Regular/Medium for body and Bold-plus for display; the mono metrics are great for tables and data. On the web, never load the full package - subset by weight like Source Han; locally and in print, go wild. Pairs with Inter, Noto Sans or Source Sans for Latin.

Its core duties are that derivatives stay under OFL without the Reserved Font Name, the licence text travels with the files, and the fonts themselves are never sold standalone.
