GenSenRounded is the rounded face of But Ko's (ButTaiwan / zi-hi) 'gensen' family - a Source Han Sans rework that files the sharp corners into plump, friendly terminals while keeping the skeleton intact, so roundness never sacrifices reading order. Seven weights span Extralight to Heavy; simplified and traditional forms are both covered with special care for Taiwanese typography habits in punctuation and vertical setting. Titles come out soft and lovely, body copy stays legible at small sizes - a low-friction answer to 'I want Source Han but not quite so severe'. Under SIL OFL 1.1 it is free for individuals and companies in ads, packaging, film, trademarks, embedded apps and the web, with derivatives required to stay under OFL and drop reserved names. Releases and sources live in ButTaiwan/gensen-font (Ver 2.100, Aug 2024). Because corners are batch-rounded by script, a rare glyph may occasionally miss its cut - test target copy before setting body text.

Parent-and-child brands, creative products, kid-friendly UI, warm consumer packaging, rounded cards and icons, soft headlines and buttons. Use at title sizes for the fullest roundness; test body sizes; generous letter-spacing keeps the rounded joins airy when set tight.

Licence：SIL Open Font License 1.1

The dominant permissive licence for open fonts: free commercial use, modification, embedding and redistribution. Its core duties are that derivatives stay under OFL without the Reserved Font Name, the licence text travels with the files, and the fonts themselves are never sold standalone. Works typeset with them belong wholly to you.

SIL OFL 1.1. Free for ads, packaging, film, marks, embedded apps and the web; embed in software and documents with no fee or credit. Modifications and redistribution must stay under OFL, include the face's licence text and use a new name (the reserved 'GenSenRounded' must be dropped).
